Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Caramel and Munich malts. This beer is a big, flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

Instructions

Mash

  • Heat Strike Water 5.65 gal to 168.5 F
  • Add all Minerals
  • Dough In Grains
  • Mash for 1 hr
  • Lauter
  • Drain wort to boil Kettle

Sparge

  • Heat Strike Water 4.5 gal to 170 F
  • Sparge until there is 7 Gallons in Boil Kettle

Boil 60 minutes

  • Add 60 min Hops
    • .25 oz Southern Cross
    • .85 oz Summit
  • Add 15 Min Hops
    • 1 oz Cascade
    • Add Whilrfloc tablet
  • Add 5 Min Hops
    • 1 oz Cascade
  • Add Flame Out (whirlpool)
    • 1 oz Cascade
    • 1 oz Crystal
    • 1 oz Mosaic

Cool Down

  • Chill to 70 F
  • Aerate wort
  • Check OG – expected 1.063
  • Pitch yeast

Dry Hop at 7 days
